BJP candidate Mohol  and NCP candidate  have loans worth crores

BJP candidate Murlidhar Mohol and NCP (SP) candidate Shrirang Barne have filed their nomination papers for Pune city and Shirur Lok Sabha elections, respectively.

During the nomination filing of both the leaders, Chief Minister Eknath Shinde was missing. 

Both took out rallies before their nomination papers were filed.

Mr Mohol is contesing is first Lok Sabha elections. He is a former corporator of Pune Municipal Corporation. He will take on Ravindra Dhangekar of the Congress.

On the other hand, Adhalrao-Patil is contesting for the fifth time. He has secured a hat-trick once but lost in 2019 elections to Amol Kolhe. He will once again take on Amol Kolhe from Shirur. Mr Kolhe has been fielded by NCP (SP).

After both the leaders filed their nomination papers, their affidavits revealed that Mr Mohol has a property (both movable and immovable) worth Rs 24.32 crore. Similarly, Mr Adhalrao has a Rs 10 crore.

Mr Mohol has ornaments worth Rs 29 lakh While Mr Adhalrao has ornaments worth Rs 1.9 crore.

Mr Mohol has deposits worth Rs 66 lakh while Mr Adhalrao has deposits worth Rs 5 crore.

Mr Mohol has shares worth around Rs 3 crore while Mr Adhalrao has shares worth around Rs 46 lakhs.

Mr Mohol has loan of Rs 14 crore while Mr Adhalrao has loan worth Rs 1 crore.
