BJP Leader Chitra Wagh Criticises Supriya Sule and Sharad Pawar in Baramati Tour

Pune: In a recent Baramati tour, BJP leader Chitra Wagh didn't hold back in criticising Supriya Sule and Sharad Pawar. She said, "Some people say Ram Krishna Hari and eat mutton curry on Chaturthi." She targeted Supriya Sule's actions, highlighting her recent videos and activities. Wagh said, "Watching each of her videos makes me laugh and feel sad too. I can see that she is losing her temper and mental balance currently. This makes me laugh so hard."

Wagh took a dig at Sule's efforts, insinuating that the great sister (Supriya Sule) just proclaims developmental works, but in reality, she just took reels on Instagram and posted them by captioning them as "Tai.. for our rights." She said that Sule's recent social media posts and reels focusing on showcasing these efforts might not be sufficient to address the needs of the people.

During Prime Minister Narendra Modi's address in Pune on March 29, he indirectly compared Sharad Pawar to a "wandering soul" (Bhatakati Aatma). When questioned about this, Wagh defended Modi's remarks, emphasising that no specific names were mentioned by Modiji and, therefore, they shouldn't be taken personally.

Responding to Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut's reaction to Modi's comments about Pawar, Wagh criticised Raut, labelling him as someone who dances to the tune of Congress and highlighting his involvement in a financial scandal. She said, "Why do you listen to Sanjay Raut? He is omniscient. His work is to dance on the stage of Congress." She further said that Raut is an accused who was released in a financial scandal.

Expressing confidence in Sunetra Pawar's victory in the Baramati Lok Sabha constituency, Wagh predicted a shift in Baramati's political landscape in the upcoming elections. However, she didn't hesitate to criticise Sharad Pawar for his remarks about "original" and "outsider" Pawar, saying it was shocking coming from someone who claimed a legacy of progressive ideals. "It is shocking to hear such a statement from Pawar Saheb, who claims the legacy of progressive ideas," said Chitra Wagh.
